I’LL SHOW YOU HOW

I’LL SHOW YOU HOW

What is more unknown than facing a future without your life partner?

How does one go on? How can one navigate IN this new territory?

You’ve lost your lifetime partner or beloved family member, the one you’ve lived years and years with. The fact is that our loved one is gone, that is the cold hard truth. We can do nothing to change this circumstance. Our brains don’t like change. Our brains want to keep us safe. We want to go back into the cave and just be safe. However, for those of us who have suddenly lost our life partner, even the cave doesn’t feel so safe anymore. Is the cave even still there without our person?

 THE TRUTH IS...

Dealing with grief can feel overwhelmingly difficult.

  • You wake up another day, and you cannot make sense of it; the emotional pain is physically tormenting your body.
  • You try to feel happy and smile, but then the memory hits you out of nowhere, and you feel so alone.
  • You resist and react, blame God, blame the doctors, people around you, argue with the injustice of it all.
  • You buffer the pain with shopping, overdrinking, or overeating, but the grief is still there.
  • Everywhere you go, every moment in your home, every holiday brings back memories of the person.

MEET YOUR COACH

I’m Debbie - a Certified Life Coach, Mom of 3, and Grandmother.

I lost my husband on October 8, 2020. He died so very suddenly of a Pulmonary Embolism. We had a normal, work-at-home day together. At 5:00pm he left to get the oil changed in my car—how ordinary is that? By 6:15pm, he was gone.

This past year I have felt all of the emotions. I still feel all of the emotions, and I am in an okay place. I am still heartbroken over the loss of my life partner, everyday, almost every moment, I think of him! And yet, we live life in forward, not in reverse.

If you have experienced a loss in your life, I’ve been there, and I would like to offer you help. I am a Certified Life Coach from the Life Coach School, and together through my personalized coaching, we can move past grief. We cannot change the past; the only direction we have to move is forward. It IS possible to feel better and more in control of our lives.

BOOK AN INTENSIVE

“Before meeting with Debbie, I had been struggling with some family issues and not dealing with hurts very well. Debbie was able to help me realize that the thoughts I was having were just thoughts and it was up to me to decide which ones I wanted to focus on. She helped me see that the negativity I was feeling was just a feeling and not necessarily my reality. She gave me a new positive perspective and made me realize that I have a very happy future to look forward to with the hope of reconciliation. I am doing my part but she helped me see that I’m not responsible for the actions and attitudes of anyone but myself."
